Christie is an incredibly talented individual who has earned her reputation as anentrepreneurial artist. Her exceptional talents include songwriting, singing, jewelrydesign and she is a sensational goldsmith as well. She has over 20 years ofexperience in music and jewelry.

Christie creates innovative, one of a kind jewelry pieces which have beenshowcased over the years in fine galleries throughout Canada, Southern California.She has traveled for over a decade throughout British Columbia and Albertaattending all the finer craft shows, including nine successful years at the WestCoast's most prestigious Circle Craft Christmas Show at Pan Pacific.

In the musical arena, Christie has produced 2 CD's of original recordings which fallinto the categories of pop, folk and smooth jazz. She provides soothing velvetvocals woven with sensuous jazz grooves, edged with a touch of Diana Krall and Paula Cole.

During her educational career, Christie graduated with honors from the Gemological Institute of America in Los Angeles and theRevere Academy in San Francisco. She also attended the Taos Institute of Arts in New Mexico and the New York Institute of Arts.Always seeking further education to improve her music and jewelry skills, Christie continues to take numerous courses.

Christie is a member of the Bowen Island Chamber of Commerce, the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada, Pacific Music Industry Association and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. In the time away from her busy schedule, she enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, reading, pilates and yoga.
