LATE BLOOMER is not simply a nice little independent CD. It's one of the very best albums I've heard this year-and it's been a damn good year. Christie Grace is an unusually eloquent and verstile songwriter, with a haunting, smooth-as-velvet voice under perfect control, and a signature style that effortlessly blends elements of samba, tango, jazz, raga, R&B and the best pop.
